Overview

The Junior Associate will play a critical role in evaluating and interpreting electronic documents for relevancy and privilege on document review projects. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Description

  • Performing first-line review for relevancy and privilege on document review projects for high-profile clients and complex cases.
  • Demonstrating the ability to quickly grasp and understand complex subject matters.
  • Ensuring that all jobs are completed in strict accordance with client and industry standards, meeting all specified job specifications and deadlines.
  • Identifying key documents, accurately logging them within the review tool, and effectively communicating these findings to the Team Lead.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and adopting a “first-time-right” approach to minimize rework and maximize efficiency.
  • Performing other special tasks or duties as required to support project objectives.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
  • Availability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet project demands.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong team player who contributes to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree.
  • A foundational understanding of eDiscovery principles and Document Review Projects.
  • 0-1 years of eDiscovery experience, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those early in their career.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration and reporting.
