Junior AI/ML Strategist | MANTECH

The Tone:
This is a Hybrid position at MANTECH, located in Arlington, VA. MANTECH seeks a motivated individual to join its team, supporting critical enterprise-level governance frameworks and strategic initiatives for artificial intelligence and machine learning models. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective deployment, tracking, and performance monitoring of AI/ML solutions, contributing directly to client success and the expansion of valuable capabilities. The strategist will play a key role in bridging technical requirements with business processes and documenting the impact of advanced technology.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support AI/ML Governance: Assist in deploying and maintaining enterprise-level governance frameworks for AI/ML models, helping track model ownership and structured approval workflows.
• Manage Documentation & Inventory: Maintain comprehensive model inventories, standards registries, and functional technical documentation.
• Analyze Data & Processes: Gather, analyze, and interpret data pipelines to identify process inefficiencies and support basic requirement-gathering tasks.
• Track Performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the real-world effectiveness of deployed solutions and system updates.
• Coordinate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with engineering, data, and compliance teams to ensure client deliverables align with structured project timelines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 0–2+ years of experience in an operational, analytical, or technical project support role.
• Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to interpret technical requirements and map out complex business processes; proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and accurately within a team environment.
• Bonus: Foundational Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent entry-level cloud/cyber credentials.
• Clearance Requirements: US Citizenship is required, and must possess an active Secret with eligibility for Top Secret / TS/SCI clearance.
