Jr. Accountant | Ignite Digital

The Tone:
This is a full-time, onsite role with a Rotating Day Off (RDO) schedule at Ignite Digital. What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Management: Serve as a general ledger accountant, diligently maintaining accurate and compliant financial records for the company’s daily business operations.
• Bookkeeping Duties: Execute comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring the meticulous recording and organization of financial transactions.
• Accounting Function Support: Provide essential support for core accounting functions, working collaboratively with both the accountant and accounting manager.
• Financial Variance Analysis: Apply accounting knowledge to actively problem-solve and thoroughly investigate any discrepancies or variances identified within the balance sheet.
• Continuous Learning & Exposure: Embrace opportunities for continuous learning, gaining hands-on responsibility and broad exposure to diverse accounting and finance processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, positioning you for an early career role.
• Experience: You bring at least one year of direct general ledger or bookkeeping experience to this position.
• Skills: You possess a solid knowledge of GAAP principles, demonstrate experience with general ledger processes, are proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have a clear understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation procedures. Furthermore, you exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy, alongside the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in all financial matters.
• Eligibility: You must be able to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance, which involves a government security investigation and meeting eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
