This position is critical for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth reconciliation processes. The role requires a detail-oriented professional adept at working with substantial transactional data, meticulously investigating discrepancies, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes and improve overall accuracy and efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconciliation & Ledger: Perform high-volume reconciliation of vendor bills against sales orders, including domestic freight charges, and complete monthly general ledger reconciliations across hundreds of transactions.
• Payment Processing: Reconcile transactions and deposits across payment platforms such as Braintree, PayPal, and Shopify, diligently investigating payment and deposit variances to identify root causes and resolve discrepancies.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage the full-cycle Accounts Receivable process for key customer accounts, encompassing invoicing, accurate payment application, account reconciliation, and comprehensive issue resolution.
• System Support: Support NetSuite initiatives, including NetSuite Analytics Warehouse and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, by assisting with data setup, validation, testing, and reconciliation across financial systems, alongside daily inventory cycle count reconciliations.
• Reporting & Improvement: Prepare weekly accounting, reconciliation, and operational reports, and identify opportunities to streamline manual accounting processes for improved accuracy and efficiency, partnering with internal teams to resolve issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Career professional with 2–5+ years of accounting, AR, reconciliation, or related experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Experience: Proven experience with Accounts Receivable and payment reconciliation, comfortable working with large volumes of transactional data and investigating discrepancies.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency and the ability to work effectively with large datasets; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail, coupled with the ability to independently investigate discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution.
• Bonus: Experience with NetSuite, familiarity with Braintree, PayPal, Shopify, or similar payment/e-commerce platforms, experience with inventory reconciliation, or ERP implementation, system migration, or financial data validation experience.
