This is a temporary contract role at a growing client, located in Morgan Hill, CA. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in providing essential support across various financial operations. This position is vital for the client’s financial stability and operational efficiency, particularly during key periods like year-end closing and the implementation of new systems.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Year-End Close: Support the comprehensive year-end financial closing process.
• AP Automation: Assist in implementing and optimizing Accounts Payable automation initiatives.
• Desk Procedures: Review, update, and document current desk procedures to enhance clarity and efficiency.
• FP&A Testing: Participate in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) testing for Power BI tool implementation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. This is an early career role.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or General Ledger accounting. Recent college graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Year-End Close processes, Accounts Payable operations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, Documentation of procedures.
