About Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD)

The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) is the fourth-largest school district in California, situated in southern Sacramento County. Requirements

  • USACC Certified: Must hold certification from the U.S. Army Cadet Command.
  • Military Rank: Must be a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) or a Warrant Officer.
  • Degree Requirement: No degree requirement.
  • Credential: Must possess a Designated Subjects Special Subjects Reserve Officer Training Corps Credential.

Compensation Note

Pay scale is based on an MIP-11 month contract.

  • Credential Copy: A valid CA ROTC Credential or proof of eligibility to obtain a Credential in ROTC. An additional authorization for teaching English Learners is required at hire.
  • Letter of Introduction: A formal letter introducing yourself.
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation: Two (2) signed Letters of Recommendations are required.
  • Resume: An up-to-date resume outlining your qualifications and experience.
