What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Customer Payments: Accurately process and post customer payments, maintaining organized billing records and generating invoices in a timely manner.
• Manage Accounts Receivable: Monitor AR aging reports, proactively follow up on past-due accounts, and perform collection efforts on outstanding invoices.
• Resolve Billing Issues: Reconcile customer accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and investigate deduction claims, short payments, and customer disputes.
• Process Vendor Invoices: Accurately and efficiently process vendor invoices and expense reports, including performing three-way matching with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Support Financial Closings: Reconcile monthly credit card statements, investigate discrepancies, and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, demonstrating core domain knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience in both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Skills: Strong data entry, reconciliation, and record-keeping abilities, combined with high attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and effective communication skills.
• Bonus: An Associate degree with relevant accounting experience will be considered, along with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
