Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert language solutions including translation, localization, and content adaptation specifically tailored for Italian-speaking audiences.
• Review and edit written materials thoroughly for grammatical accuracy, appropriate tone, and context alignment, ensuring impeccable quality.
• Facilitate clear and effective verbal and written communication across various cross-functional teams, bridging linguistic and cultural gaps.
• Support language training initiatives and actively mentor colleagues on Italian linguistic best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to meticulously meet client guidelines and project timelines, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Conduct rigorous linguistic quality assurance (LQA) processes and address any feedback proactively and constructively.
• Stay continuously updated on Italian language trends and regional nuances to consistently enhance communication strategies and cultural relevance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Italian with an exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary, reflecting deep linguistic understanding.
• Strong academic or practical background in linguistics or applied language studies.
• Proven experience in professional translation, localization, content writing, or related language services.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English, enabling effective bilateral communication.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and a genuine passion for linguistic precision and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting, managing tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Proficient with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace) and various language technology platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Italian language studies, translation, or linguistics from a recognized institution.
• Experience supporting multilingual or multicultural teams, demonstrating adaptability and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry-standard CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools such as Trados, memoQ, or similar platforms.
