What You’ll Actually Do
• Translation: Deliver expert language solutions, including translation, localization, and content adaptation, specifically for Italian-speaking audiences.
• Editing: Review and edit written materials thoroughly for grammatical accuracy, appropriate tone, and context alignment.
• Communication: Facilitate clear and effective verbal and written communication across various cross-functional teams.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous linguistic quality assurance (LQA) processes and proactively address any feedback.
• Guidance: Support language training initiatives and mentor colleagues on Italian linguistic best practices.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Native-level proficiency in Italian with a strong academic or practical background in linguistics or applied language studies.
• Experience: Proven experience in professional translation, localization, content writing, or related language services.
• Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Bonus: Certification in Italian language studies, translation, or linguistics; experience supporting multilingual teams; familiarity with CAT tools such as Trados or memoQ.
