IT PMO Analyst | Wabtec Corporation

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Wabtec Corporation, located in Contagem, MG, Brazil. Wabtec is seeking an IT PMO Analyst to join its IT Project Management Office, which operates within the IT Strategy & Operational Effectiveness department under the CIO. This role is crucial for supporting a best-in-class IT PMO, ensuring effective project and program delivery through robust communications, documentation, change management, and risk management practices across the IT Enterprise.

• Team: The IT PMO team, sitting within IT SOE (Strategy & Operational Effectiveness), reports to the IT PMO Director.
• Mission: Support both the IT PMO and the IT PM community with communications, documentation, change management, and risk management to ensure effective project and program delivery.
• Tech Stack: MS Excel (advanced with pivot tables and charts), MS Project, Smart Sheet, Rally, Service Now SPM

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Project Delivery: Facilitate Enterprise IT project and program delivery by applying IT PMO processes, methodologies, governance frameworks, and standards, and guiding Project Managers and IT stakeholders on governance requirements and reporting.
• Manage PMO Documentation: Create, maintain, and continuously improve IT PMO documentation, standards, procedures, templates, and supporting materials to mature enterprise IT governance and project delivery practices.
• Coordinate Governance Processes: Administer IT PMO governance and review processes, including coordinating meeting agendas, stakeholder interactions, action tracking, reporting, dashboards, and related communications.
• Analyze Performance Data: Analyze project, portfolio, risk, and operational performance data, consolidating reports from multiple systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and to make meaningful recommendations.
• Communicate PMO Initiatives: Author and distribute communications, articles, presentations, and other materials to promote awareness, understanding, and adoption of IT PMO processes, governance practices, tools, and Enterprise IT initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, IT, or a related field, or 10 years of equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Proven experience in project management, change management, and finance.
• Skills: Strong communication skills (written and spoken), strong analytical skills with the ability to work with and analyze various data sets, strong MS Excel skills (including advanced experience with pivot tables and chart skills), and familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Smart Sheet, Rally, and Service Now SPM.
• Bonus: Project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, CSM, CPM, ACP, APM).
