Job Description: IT Intern at Great American Ballpark

This paid internship offers valuable work experience in a supportive environment, aligning with Delaware North’s values. Interns participate in the Delaware North Intern Experience, including hybrid/in-person work, mentorship, coaching, and on-the-job learning. The internship provides a chance to discover the operations of a global hospitality company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-class technical support for all computer systems at the ballpark. This includes:
• Configuring, installing, and maintaining concessions point-of-sale systems.
• Troubleshooting issues related to TCP/IP, LAN/WAN connectivity, Android OS, Windows OS, Retail POS, and Apple OS.
• Setting up and maintaining PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Running and terminating low-voltage cables (Cat5e/Cat6).
• Provide support for events, marketing, and manager meetings (including A/V setup and teardown).
• Maintain digital signage throughout the property.
• Maintain PCI compliance certification and measures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in IT, MIS, or CIS.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and operating systems.
• Ability to identify problems and research solutions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Capable of retaining PCI compliance certification and measures.

Physical Requirements: The ability to perform long-term standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive moving of up to 50 pounds is required.
