• Mission: Lead direct investments in technology businesses across the Americas, proactively identifying and executing new investment opportunities for the firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead direct investments in technology businesses across the Americas, proactively identifying new investment themes and opportunities.
• Manage comprehensive quantitative and qualitative due diligence processes, including oversight of team members and third-party advisors.
• Develop and review valuation analyses, prepare investment memoranda, and present opportunities effectively to Investment Committees.
• Lead the review and negotiation of legal transaction documentation (e.g., SPA, SHA, MIP), coordinating support from internal and external legal advisors.
• Contribute to structuring and raising debt financing for investments in collaboration with the Capital Markets team.
• Actively engage with management teams and boards of portfolio companies to guide post-closing value-creation initiatives and develop exit strategies.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor junior transaction professionals within and outside of investment processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level private equity professional with at least 6 years of experience focused on the technology vertical, typically preceded by 2-3 years in investment banking. Possess a strong understanding of the technology landscape, top software categories, and deep knowledge of software and SaaS business models and revenue models.
• Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in private equity with a technology focus, plus 2-3 years of investment banking experience. Strong existing relationships with intermediaries and demonstrated superior business judgment in holistically assessing investment opportunities. Proven ability to coordinate complex investment processes, manage up and down, and ensure high-quality execution.
• Skills: Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate and execute strategic initiatives. Acute organizational and communication skills, coupled with a high level of maturity and professional presence, capable of driving consensus at all levels.
• Bonus: Education and/or prior work experience in a technical discipline, such as computer science or data science.
