• Team: FIG Coverage team within Global Banking, working closely with product partners and colleagues across the Americas and global platform.
• Mission: Drive client engagement, strategic advisory, and origination across a portfolio of financial institution clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Management: Develop and manage senior client relationships across banks, insurers, asset managers, and specialty finance companies.
• Transaction Origination: Originate and execute a broad range of transactions, including M&A, equity and debt capital raising, and other strategic advisory engagements.
• Integrated Solutions: Partner with product teams such as ECM, DCM, Leveraged Finance, and M&A to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Strategic Leadership: Lead client dialogue, encompassing idea generation, pitching, and overall execution oversight for engagements.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop junior bankers, contributing to a high-performance team environment and fostering growth within the group.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, coupled with significant experience in investment banking, specifically within FIG sector coverage.
• Experience: Proven track record in originating and executing M&A and capital markets transactions, alongside a deep understanding of financial institutions, including their regulatory and capital frameworks.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and team management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple complex transactions and priorities simultaneously.
• Bonus: MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Curiosity to explore how AI can improve workflow optimization with sound judgment, validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
