Investment Banking Associate, GP Solutions | Baird

This role is critical for expanding Baird’s advisory footprint in the fast-growing area of GP-led solutions, offering meaningful responsibility on complex transactions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute and contribute to the investment banking presence within GP Solutions, providing support to build a meaningful franchise focused on Secondary Advisory.
• Drive the preparation of company valuations, financial models, marketing materials, and client presentations.
• Contribute to business development efforts through research and analysis.
• Work directly with senior bankers and client executives, gaining insight into leadership-level decision-making on complex transactions.
• Utilize AI tools such as Rogo and auxi to streamline the creation of pitch books and models, and employ data visualization software like Power BI for data-driven insights.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experience working on a team of investment bankers with a focus on GP Solutions, coupled with deep knowledge of Secondary Advisory.
• Experience: At least three years of experience and a demonstrated ability to effectively execute complex transactions in Secondary Advisory.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, clear communication, strong leadership, intellectual agility, and initiative.
• Bonus: Experience with AI tools such as Rogo, CoPilot, and auxi, along with familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
