As an Investment Analyst, you will join the investment and strategy team, playing a vital role in the company’s growth by focusing on new investments and internal strategic consulting within this dynamic and collaborative framework.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Analysis: Prepare and present comprehensive investment analyses and recommendations to the Investment Committee, providing critical insights for decision-making.
• Transaction Execution: Perform thorough due diligence and manage the execution process for both M&A transactions and internal restructuring initiatives.
• Document Review: Review and negotiate transaction and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and favorable terms for Stagwell.
• Opportunity Sourcing: Source and diligently track new investment opportunities, identifying potential avenues for company expansion and strategic partnerships.
• Strategic Research: Conduct primary market research to gather essential data and insights, directly informing and driving the company’s overall strategy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Ideal candidates will possess a foundational understanding of fundamental analysis, typically gained through relevant academic coursework or targeted internship experience. This role is suited for individuals starting their career in investment and strategy.
• Experience: Requires 0-1 years of direct experience in investment banking, or equivalent relevant internship experience that has provided exposure to the core principles of fundamental analysis. This position is for immediate start.
• Skills: Proven ability to perform detailed fundamental analysis, conduct thorough due diligence for M&A transactions and internal restructurings, and effectively review and negotiate various transaction and legal documents. Strong capabilities in sourcing and tracking new investment opportunities, combined with the ability to conduct primary market research to inform strategic decisions, are essential. The role also demands the skill to prepare and present clear, concise investment analyses and recommendations to an Investment Committee.
