Investment Banking Analyst / Venture Capital Analyst | First Analysis

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engagement: Engage meaningfully with entrepreneurs and enterprises who are clients and partners.
• Modeling: Build financial models.
• Analysis: Develop valuation analyses.
• Presentations: Create pitchbooks and other presentations.
• Due Diligence: Perform due diligence relating to mergers, acquisitions, capital raises, and proprietary investments by the firm’s venture capital funds.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area, or a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Strong research, quantitative, and analytical skills; strong writing, design, and speaking skills; proficiency at synthesizing complex information about businesses.
• Bonus: Ability to work in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.
