About the Job: Inventory Quality & Control (IQC) Internship

Position Summary

Internship Program Details
Duration: 10.5 weeks, full-time.
Start Date: May 27th, 2026.
Conclusion Date: August 7th, 2026.
Work Schedule: 5 days a week (Monday – Friday).
Location: On-site at one of CVS Health’s distribution centers: Conroe, TX or Kansas City, MO.
Pay Rate: $25/hour for 40 hours/week.
Paid Time Off: No work on July 4th (company holiday) and two days of paid leave.
Relocation: Interns living more than 50 miles from their assigned location may be eligible for a one-time relocation stipend.
Future Opportunities: Corporate interns have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future role with CVS Health.

Sponsorship
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

Inventory Quality & Control (IQC) Team Role
As part of the IQC team, interns will help ensure inventory accuracy, product quality, and process compliance to support efficient supply chain operations. The team oversees key functions such as cycle counting, slotting, managing damaged or stray products, and coordinating reverse logistics, while partnering with other departments to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Graduation date between September 2026 and August 2027.
• Major, minor, or concentration relevant to the position, such as Supply Chain Management, Transportation / Logistics, Business Operations Management, or Business Analytics.
• Availability to work full-time for the duration of the internship program.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Access, SQL, or similar platforms).
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or academic projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Prior internship, co-op, or work experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related business/technical field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
