Intramural Representative | Loma Linda University Health

The Tone:
This is an in-person role at Loma Linda University Health, located in Loma Linda, CA. This Intramural Representative position plays a vital role in supporting the University’s recreational offerings by assisting with the planning, organization, and instruction of leisure programs and events. The successful individual will contribute directly to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for a diverse range of participants including students, staff, and community members, thereby enhancing the overall campus and community experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Coordination: Assist directly in the comprehensive planning, careful organization, and clear instruction of various Intramural and Recreation leisure programs, activities, and events designed for diverse age groups within a university recreation center setting.
• Activity Oversight: Proactively monitor the real-time status and progress of all recreational activities taking place at the Drayson Center, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to schedules.
• Customer Focus: Dedicate close focus and attention to ensuring the highest possible level of customer satisfaction among all service users, specifically including University Students, Loma Linda University Health staff, and broader Community activities.
• Resource Management: Provide essential assistance in the ongoing maintenance of intramural facilities, fields, and equipment to ensure they remain safe, functional, and ready for use.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of sports facility operations or intramural programming.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of experience working in a sports facility environment and/or direct involvement with intramural programs is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in standard office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment; strong ability to communicate positively and professionally in English (both written and verbal); capacity for critical thinking, effective workload management, and independent problem-solving while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Bonus: Possession of a High School Diploma is preferred for this role.
