### About the Job: Internship (Asset Management Support)
This is a full-time, temporary, paid internship position with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, typically requiring a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months. Please note that summer housing will not be provided, though MARTA passes are.
Scope of Assignment:
The intern will gain hands-on experience in asset management within the Federal Reserve Bank environment. Working closely with a designated mentor, the intern will be guided through various tasks, ensuring alignment with departmental processes, service delivery goals, and professional development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a range of tasks vital to the bank’s asset management operations, including:
• Asset lifecycle tracking for both hardware and software.
• Performing monthly attestations for software license and “bad list” validation.
• Equipment Hard Drive wiping.
• Making CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Updates in response to Change and Incident Requests.
• Assisting with the Retiree Gifting Program Administration.
• Monitoring mobile devices that have not been used for 90 or more days.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program for the entire duration of the internship.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in an academically rigorous curriculum.
• Be committed to working a 40-hour work week for the full 10-12 weeks during the summer.
• Possess basic knowledge of ServiceNow.
Preferred Majors:
While not exclusive, candidates pursuing degrees in the following fields are preferred:
• Information Technology
