About the Job: Internal Medicine Physician
Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join its established practice in Clovis, New Mexico. Clovis is described as being located near Lubbock, TX.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Internal Medicine Physician will provide outpatient, primary care services to patients. The role requires the physician to lead and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This team includes nurses, medical assistants, case and care managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacist clinicians, and clerical staff, all working together to provide comprehensive patient care. Regular communication and collaboration are essential.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients dealing with both acute and chronic illnesses.
• Exercise professional medical judgments in patient care.
• Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, including x-rays and lab tests.
• Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Document all patient encounters and communications accurately and appropriately.
• Manage the provider/patient relationship and effectively resolve patient complaints.
• Be actively involved in the education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups regarding health matters.
• Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.
• Work both autonomously and in collaboration with other healthcare providers and staff.
• Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
• Contribute to system-wide health management initiatives.
• Provide input on the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance, including budget, capital plan, and personnel issues.
