Legal Intern – Pittsburgh, PA | F.N.B. Corporation

The Tone:
This is an in-office internship at F.N.B. Corporation, located in Pittsburgh, PA. F.N.B. Corporation is a financial services organization dedicated to serving businesses and consumers. This role offers the opportunity to experience how a Legal Department provides daily support across a wide range of bank operations, from general branch inquiries to complex litigation and regulatory matters. You will observe firsthand the internal workings of the Legal Department and its collaboration with outside counsel.

• Team: Legal Business Unit, reports to Senior Corporate Counsel
• Mission: Support the Legal Department in delivering daily legal services and counsel across various bank functions, ensuring compliance and addressing diverse legal needs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Aggressively acquire new ideas and concepts, ask questions, and be intellectually curious about diverse legal issues.
• Analyze: Improve decision-making by performing thorough analysis, including issue spotting, critical thinking, and general legal project work.
• Communicate: Deliver information clearly, logically, and effectively, both in writing and orally, adapting style for various settings.
• Collaborate: Work effectively with team members and other FNB departments to achieve group goals and gain exposure to the company’s business, culture, and mission.
• Produce: Complete project assignments with appropriate oversight, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality output for all efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate bachelor’s degree, Entry-Level.
• Experience: 0 years experience required.
• Skills: Legal research, legal document review and revision, critical thinking, issue spotting, clear written and oral communication, teamwork, accountability.
• Bonus: Officially enrolled in law school or strongly considering a legal career, including applying for a law school education.
