• Mission: This role supports project teams in executing active construction projects, developing new project estimates, managing essential documentation processes, and contributing to robust safety and quality management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Blueprint Interpretation: Utilize computer programs such as Bluebeam and CAD to accurately read and interpret both 2D and 3D technical drawings and blueprints.
• Project Documentation: Collaborate with the Project Team to identify, prepare, and produce necessary project-specific technical and commercial documents, including those for RFI and submittal processes, essential for active construction projects.
• Cost Estimation Assistance: Provide support to lead estimators in the development of comprehensive project estimates for new business opportunities and proposals.
• Project Closure Activities: Contribute to project closeout procedures by collecting required documents, reviewing change orders and modifications, verifying all order specifications are met, and gathering key takeaways for continuous learning and future project improvement.
• Safety & Quality Analysis: Participate in the root cause analysis of any safety or quality events, ensuring that proper controls are identified and implemented to prevent any recurrence or further instances.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience: Proficiency in Windows applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel, is required.
• Skills: Demonstrates self-motivation, possesses good written and verbal communication skills, and exhibits thorough attention to detail.
• Bonus: A strong interest in pursuing a future career within the industrial construction field.
