What You’ll Actually Do
• Sample Tracking and Management: Train on and proficiently utilize the GPS sample tracking system, partnering closely with internal and external teams to ensure all sample movements are entered accurately and promptly. This involves meticulous record-keeping to maintain an up-to-date overview of all sample locations and movements.
• Event Sample Coordination: Manage and calendar all incoming and outgoing sample requests, meticulously packing and preparing samples for various Wholesale or International Sales’ events. This includes significant occasions such as trunk shows, Paris Fashion Week, and daily selling appointments, ensuring timely dispatch per request.
• Market Week Showroom Operations: Provide essential back-of-house assistance during market week. This involves gaining firsthand experience in showroom setup and maintenance, learning the intricate operational flow during fashion week, and actively participating in dressing and styling models for each appointment, thereby working closely with the clothing line and professional dressers.
• Sales and Inventory Reporting: Regularly update the “available to sell” report on a weekly basis, contributing to timely sales planning. Additionally, assist the team by updating excess inventory spreadsheets to facilitate the strategic selling of past season products.
• Product Buy Visual Summaries: Create comprehensive visual summaries of seasonal buys for all accounts. These presentations are vital tools used for all product training sessions with accounts and serve as crucial internal references for understanding each account’s specific seasonal purchases.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a college degree. This is an Entry-Level position.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required. Prior exposure to using computer software, including MS Office, is expected.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, excellent organizational capabilities, and proficiency in general computer tasks.
