What You’ll Actually Do
• Engineering Contribution: Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Design and Development: Participate in work experience including drawing, dimensioning, documentation review, root cause analysis, conceptual design, detail design, and/or testing.
• Project Input: Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Team Collaboration: Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in either Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. This early career internship is specifically designed for students seeking practical experience. A GPA of at least 3.0 is a requirement, though exact departmental specifications may vary.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is detailed; however, candidates must be able to relocate to Blacksburg, VA for the duration of the summer 2026 block internship. Eligibility for access to U.S. export-controlled information is also a mandatory requirement.
• Skills: Demonstrated professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential for success in this role.
