The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person Anoka, MN
• Pay: $21–$28 hourly
• Team: Credit and Shared Services team
• Mission: This intern will support the Credit and Shared Services team by analyzing metrics, assisting with financial system projects, and providing support for credit and cash application processes.
• Tech Stack: PC, MS Excel
What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Metrics: Evaluate department metrics to identify opportunities for ideal utilization and efficiency improvements.
• Support ERP Conversion: Assist with critical projects focused on ERP conversion and ensuring data integrity within financial systems.
• Implement Cash Automation: Help with the implementation of a new cash automation system to streamline financial processes.
• Assist Credit Representatives: Provide support to credit representatives in managing and resolving customer debits.
• Collaborate on Cash Application: Work alongside cash application specialists to reconcile deductions and repayments effectively.
• Handle Special Projects: Undertake various special projects as needed to support the Credit and Shared Services team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a Sophomore or Junior in college, pursuing a major or concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required beyond current academic standing.
• Skills: Strong team collaboration, effective workload organization and prioritization, analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in PC and MS Excel.
