GE Aerospace Intern/Co-op: Supply Chain/Manufacturing (EHS, Facilities, Maintenance)

Job Summary
Help invent the future of flight, lift people up, and bring them home safely as a GE Aerospace intern/co-op! You’ll build leadership and technical skills in a supply chain/manufacturing role, working on challenging, real-world problems and solving for what the world needs. You will build relationships with interns/co-ops and leaders, and you’ll prepare for a potential full-time position after graduation in one of our fantastic leadership programs or direct hire opportunity.
You’ll be placed taking your preferences into account while also considering your major, year of schooling, and business needs at the time of placement. Willingness and ability to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations is required.
Essential Responsibilities
As an intern/co-op on the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) track, you may also be involved in Facilities and Maintenance. In this role, you will contribute to workforce efforts to protect the health and safety of GE Aerospace employees and the public, as well as safeguard the environment from hazards. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Involvement in industrial hygiene and hazard assessments.
- Contributing to risk abatement strategies.
- Supporting environmental management, including wastewater management, hazard/non-hazard waste disposal, and air regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Addressing Ergonomics and general safety concerns.
- Understanding GE Aerospace’s EHS management systems and framework.
- Coaching employees and teams to develop sustainable processes and structures to meet all EHS requirements.
- Assisting with sustainability efforts related to wastewater and air in manufacturing processes.
- Supporting initiatives in occupational health and wellness.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in our Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) after graduation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior GE Aerospace internship experience required.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale.
- Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program (accepted majors are listed below).
- Willingness and ability to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
- Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available.
Degrees Accepted

- Or any relevant or similar major to the ones above

Benefits
Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
