What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Testing: Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Data Analysis: Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Report Drafting: Help draft management letter comments and contribute to the audit report.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must be actively working toward CPA Exam eligibility and demonstrate satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework, maintaining a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0. Legal authorization to work in the United States is required, as visa sponsorship is not available.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is explicitly required, as this internship is designed to provide foundational audit experience.
• Skills: Solid technical accounting knowledge; Strong oral and written communication; Effective time management; Close attention to detail; Problem-solving attitude; Ability to work well within a team and independently; Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines; Reliable transportation for office and off-site meetings.
• Bonus: Strong computer skills preferred, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; Willingness to take initiative.
