• Team: Interns will support and learn various functions within Shambaugh & Son L.P., potentially including engineering, project management, technical, business services, accounting, or clerical operations, working closely with senior professionals.
• Mission: To support and learn various critical functions within the company, thereby applying academic knowledge into practical, hands-on work across diverse project types.
• Tech Stack: AutoCAD, REVIT, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Actively learn and understand the responsibilities associated with your desired profession within the company’s diverse operations.
• Apply: Incorporate academic knowledge and theoretical concepts into practical, hands-on work and real-world project challenges.
• Design: Utilize and work with specialized software like AutoCAD or REVIT for tasks related to design, drafting, or project documentation.
• Collaborate: Work closely with and provide direct support to senior professionals, assisting them in their projects and daily operational needs.
• Contribute: Assist with various administrative and operational tasks around the office, ensuring smooth workflow and effective support for ongoing projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position for individuals currently enrolled in an academic program, either at the High School or University level.
• Experience: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate proficiency in essential computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities; demonstrate a self-directed approach to work, capable of performing tasks without constant supervision; exhibit an energetic and eager attitude towards tackling new projects and ideas, coupled with a strong willingness to learn new skills.
