The Tone:
This is an internship at Covered Care, located in Dallas, TX. Covered Care provides a buy now, pay later financing solution specifically for growing healthcare practices. This role is a unique summer rotational program designed to offer extensive practical experience across key business functions, making a tangible impact on our operations and product offerings.

• Mission: Contribute across core business facets, including data analysis, credit underwriting, finance, and business development, to support and improve the company’s financing program and product.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze early delinquent accounts to identify trends that can improve credit underwriting models and processes.
• Reporting: Build risk analytics dashboards to continuously evaluate the performance and health of the financing program.
• Research: Perform competitive research on the evolving business landscape to inform and advance business development efforts.
• Optimization: Identify potential cost efficiencies and operational improvements to enhance the overall profitability of the business.
• Engagement: Interact directly with healthcare practice partners to gather feedback, understand their needs, and contribute to product improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, currently a rising undergraduate junior or senior.
• Experience: Majoring in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or Business.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and VBA.
