What You’ll Actually Do
• Clerical and Documentation Support: Perform a range of essential clerical duties, which include taking detailed notes and memos during meetings, meticulously maintaining files, and organizing various documents to ensure efficient information access.
• Information and Research Preparation: Actively assist in the comprehensive preparation of vital information and research materials, utilizing standard office applications such as Word documents, Excel worksheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Operational Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking skills to effectively address and solve customer or internal operational requirements, executing tasks by adhering to established principles and methods necessary for smooth operations.
• Product and Process Learning: Undertake a focused effort to learn, interpret, and subsequently explain PrimeLending’s diverse range of mortgage products and intricate internal processes to relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Data Review and Analysis: Systematically review and analyze pertinent data sets to provide insights and support ongoing projects, contributing to informed decision-making within the assigned functional area.
• General Support and Errands: Fulfill general industry-related errands as needed, and perform other functions to provide broad support for the team and overall organizational objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This early career internship requires candidates to possess a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent educational qualification.
• Experience: While some prior experience is preferred, specifically 0-1 year in a related field or office environment, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Skills: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with standard computer hardware, operating systems such as Windows or Mac, and common software applications including the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
• Bonus: A degree from an accredited institution in a relevant academic discipline is a preferred qualification, indicating a foundational understanding pertinent to the financial services industry.
