• Mission: This intern will support Rinker’s operations, gaining practical experience in a manufacturing setting while contributing to community development projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Departmental Assistance: Provide hands-on support to various departments, including production, logistics, quality control, or engineering, in their daily activities.
• Project & Data Analysis: Contribute to assigned projects by conducting research and analysis, and assist in data entry, data analysis, and report generation.
• Process Observation & Adherence: Observe and learn about concrete manufacturing processes, collaborate with the quality control team, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain accurate documentation for projects and processes, and actively participate in cross-functional team meetings and discussions.
• Professional Development: Define learning goals, attend training sessions, network with company professionals, and prepare a presentation summarizing key learnings and contributions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent. You must be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a construction management, engineering, concrete management, or a related degree program.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required for this internship role.
• Skills: You will need strong abilities in data analysis and report generation, research and project support, and accurate documentation management. A foundational understanding of manufacturing processes and a commitment to adhering to safety regulations are also essential.
• Bonus: Prior manufacturing-related work experience is preferred.
