Job Title: Intern

Overview:
LeaseMate is seeking a sharp and curious intern to join its team for the summer. This role is focused on assisting with research, policy writing, and legal content development within a legal tech startup environment. It’s an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in law, policy, or technology, particularly students or recent graduates considering law school or careers in legal tech, privacy, or intellectual property.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
Support the team with legal research on user rights, content policies, and platform compliance.
Assist in reviewing and drafting terms, disclaimers, and user-facing legal copy.
Contribute to internal documentation and help shape platform best practices.
Optional: Write blog-style content on legal topics for the LeaseMate platform.
Participate in remote check-ins and collaborate asynchronously with the team.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
Strong writing and research skills.
Interest in law, policy, tech, or public-interest platforms.
Self-starter mindset — indicating organization, proactiveness, and adaptability.
No legal experience required, but a pre-law, public policy, or communications background is considered a plus.
