About The Job: Interactive HTML Team Intern

The Interactive HTML Team is responsible for translating interactive graphical displays from JMP Statistical Discovery desktop software to the web, integrating them as content within our JMP Live web application. Our mission is to empower users to share their creations and discoveries from our Mac and Windows versions of JMP with a high degree of interactivity, utilizing JavaScript and HTML5 technologies.

As an Intern on This Team, You May:

  • Extend the number of interactive graphics that JMP users can publish to the web.
  • Enhance existing web-based interactive graphs.
  • Learn and apply software engineering techniques to ensure quality.
  • Create examples that demonstrate the utility of new functionality.

Required Qualifications

  • You possess programming experience in one or more of the following languages and have a desire to learn and use the others: C++, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • You are interested in the future of analytics and embrace technology.
  • You are an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering, not graduating prior to December 2026.
  • You are able to be on campus at our Cary, NC headquarters 2-3 days a week.
