Role Purpose:
As an Integration Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for integrating new manufacturing lines with Tesla’s homegrown Factory, Warehouse, and ERP systems. Your role will also involve providing ongoing support to ensure the smooth daily operation of these systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, driving system integration projects, and troubleshooting production issues to maintain the operational health of critical systems. This role demands a unique combination of technical skills, including system integration knowledge, real-time issue resolution, and user support, operating within a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility in managing both long-term projects and daily operational support.

Responsibilities:

Support daily operations by troubleshooting and resolving user issues across Tesla factories, including handling support tickets related to factory software systems.
Create workarounds for issues that require immediate solutions, while working towards permanent resolutions.
Document troubleshooting procedures and provide user training to ensure users can resolve common issues independently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system optimizations, including automation and monitoring tools, to improve the efficiency of factory software systems.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a graduation date between December 2025 – 2026.
Able to work on site in Fremont, CA.
Experience in a support or integration engineering role, with a focus on system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Experience working with SQL, Python, Go, or other software development languages for automating tasks and integrating systems.
Solid understanding of integrated systems and their dependencies, particularly within manufacturing and enterprise environments.
Experience with system integration and working in environments that use MES, WMS, and ERP systems is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and presentations.

International Students (CPT):
If your work authorization is through CPT, it is crucial to consult your school regarding your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying, as you must be able to work full-time and on-site. Many students may be limited to part-time work during the academic year.
