Job Description

Figma is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their growing team as an Inside Sales Representative. This role is crucial for making design accessible to all by empowering teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and collaborate in real-time from anywhere in the world.

About the Role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in helping existing customers scale their use of Figma, managing requests, and closing deals from a large book of accounts. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in product knowledge and internal sales processes while partnering with key teams like Support, Order Management, and Marketing.

You will gain experience in qualifying and routing inbound prospects to the appropriate Account Executive, which will be instrumental in your career development in Sales. As a founding member of this new team, adaptability and eagerness to contribute to the evolving strategy of this function are highly valued.

This is a full-time role based in either Figma’s New York City or San Francisco hub offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with existing customer accounts via email, Zoom, and Ironclad to discuss Figma’s platform and pricing.
  • Close inbound sales requests related to subscription expansions, including adding products or licenses, creating new instances, and upgrading to the Enterprise Plan.
  • Manage inbound billing requests, such as processing renewals and changing payment terms or methods.
  • Execute targeted outbound account renewals.
  • Qualify and efficiently handle inbound sales requests.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to run proactive campaigns aimed at maximizing expansion and retention across all Figma products.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong desire to build a career in Sales, with an ultimate goal of progressing to Senior Inside Sales Representative and Account Executive roles at Figma.
  • Robust technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new products, processes, and policies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, including Sales, Support, Billing, and Marketing.
  • Inherent curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning, comfort with navigating frequent change, and a high achiever mindset with strong inner motivation.
  • Exposure to or a keen interest in product development and web-based collaborative tools.

Added Plus (Not Required, but Valued)

  • Experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Previous customer-facing Sales or Support experience.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or Portuguese.

Figma values growth and encourages smart, curious individuals to apply, even if their past experience doesn’t perfectly align with every point in the job description. Your unique skills and potential are highly regarded.
