Job Description

This is for an Information Technology Intern position within MacLean-Fogg’s Summer Internship Program, scheduled for Summer 2026, lasting 10 weeks. The program is offered at multiple U.S. locations, and applicants will be prompted to select their preferred locations during the application process. Compensation ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, based on location, experience, and academic level.

Program Overview:
The Summer Internship Program provides real-world exposure to IT systems, applications, and infrastructure, allowing interns to contribute to meaningful projects from day one. Over 10 weeks, interns will gain:

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
As an Information Technology Intern, key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with system administration, troubleshooting, and IT support tasks.
• Supporting projects in various IT domains such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, or ERP systems.
• Participating in software/application testing and documentation.
• Contributing to data management, reporting, and process automation initiatives.
• Completing a capstone intern project and presenting the results to leadership.

Qualifications:
MacLean-Fogg is seeking motivated students who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute. Required qualifications include:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
• The ability to work on-site at one of their locations for the entire duration of the program.

Preferred qualifications include:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
• Knowledge of networking concepts.
• Experience with programming.
• Understanding of database concepts.
