Information Technology Helpdesk Analyst | Spaulding Clinical Research

The Tone:
This is a part-time role with varying hours at Spaulding Clinical Research, located in West Bend, WI. The company focuses on clinical research, and this role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of all internal IT systems and software. By providing essential technical support and user assistance, this analyst helps maintain the stability and security of the technology infrastructure that underpins critical research activities. The TL;DR
• Role: Part Time
• Type: Varying hours per week
• Location: West Bend, WI

• Mission: Provide technical support to IT systems and software, and deliver day-to-day user assistance.
• Tech Stack: Windows-based OS, Google Chromebooks, VOIP phone system, Microsoft-based software, Active Directory, PCs, printers, peripherals, AV equipment, mobile hardware (phones, tablets), network devices (cameras, sensors)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide comprehensive on-site and remote technical support, including software and hardware configuration for PCs and laptops.
• Manage and track helpdesk tickets to ensure timely resolution and appropriate follow-up with end-users.
• Support users with network systems, VOIP phone issues, PC hardware problems, operating system concerns, and Microsoft-based software features.
• Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Google Chromebooks for Clinical Operations, alongside supporting end-user mobile hardware.
• Administer Active Directory accounts, user groups, and file permissions, while installing and configuring various network devices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Working towards a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of hardware and software programs, with an ability to implement, operate, and document Information Technology systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities; effective communication of technical information to end-users; detail-oriented with good organizational traits.
• Bonus: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment; results-driven, quick learner, capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and responding to urgent team needs.
