Intern Analyst/Co-Op (Summer 2027 Internship) | Connors Group

The Tone:
This is an internship at Connors Group, with travel throughout the United States. Connors Group is a management consulting firm dedicated to working with client companies in the manufacturing, distribution, and retail industries. This Intern Analyst/Co-Op role is designed for students to participate directly in client consulting projects as an Analyst, while learning the fundamental aspects of a consultant’s role. It is an opportunity to contribute significant value to clients through high-quality service and ethical behavior, aligning with the company’s core values.

The TL;DR

• Team: Works with experienced teams, reporting to a direct project lead
• Mission: Contribute to client consulting projects by successfully completing data collection activities for various studies across multiple industries, helping clients solve business problems and improve their operations.
• Tech Stack: MS Office including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Collection: Successfully complete comprehensive data collection activities for diverse studies spanning multiple industries.
• Client Engagement: Communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of client employees at client sites, as well as with all members of the internal project team.
• Project Management: Manage personal time, report task progress clearly to your direct project lead, and work productively during assigned observation durations at client sites.
• Travel & Logistics: Undertake extensive travel (80-100%), sometimes independently, across the United States to support client project needs.
• Business Solutions: Actively participate in projects designed to help client companies solve complex business problems and enhance their operational efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, indicating an entry-level capacity for this role.
• Experience: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in Industrial Engineering courses is required.
• Skills: Possess a strong work ethic, the capability for independent work, and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to critically assess situations and effectively solve problems, coupled with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Skills: Extensive travel capability (80-100%) throughout the US, sometimes independently, with an active driver’s license and access to reliable auto transportation and a major US airport.
