The Tone:
This is a full-time role at a confidential international company, located in Courbevoie, France, with a hybrid work model. The company is currently undergoing significant transformation. This role is crucial for strengthening the EMEA Purchasing organization by leading value creation, purchasing performance, and the transformation of the purchasing function across the European region. The individual will operate within a multi-site, international industrial environment.

• Mission: Define, deploy, and optimize the indirect purchasing strategy across EMEA, driving value creation and functional transformation.
• Tech Stack: SAP, Power BI, Excel, BI solutions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategize: Define and deploy the Indirect Purchasing strategy across the entire EMEA region, developing category-specific strategies and identifying value creation and cost reduction levers.
• Optimize Performance: Drive purchasing performance by conducting tenders, strategic negotiations, managing framework contracts, and building a structured pipeline for savings and cost avoidance.
• Govern: Structure purchasing governance by clarifying roles between Group Purchasing, EMEA Purchasing, and industrial sites, deploying Purchase Request processes, and establishing approval and reporting circuits.
• Transform: Lead EMEA-wide purchasing transformation projects, animating cross-functional teams involving Finance, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other Purchasing teams.
• Analyze & Tool: Develop and evolve EMEA Purchasing dashboards, guaranteeing data reliability, performing spend analysis, and exploiting tools like SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s Degree (Bac +5) from an engineering or business school, with a confirmed background in purchasing transformation and change management.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in indirect purchasing within an international environment, with excellent mastery of industrial indirect purchasing (excluding CAPEX).
• Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities, proven project management skills, mastery of data analysis and reporting tools, and fluent English.
