Implementation Intern | Fast Enterprises, LLC

The Tone:
This is an internship at Fast Enterprises, LLC, located in various project sites across the US. Fast Enterprises develops essential software and services for government and citizens, including solutions for revenue agencies, motor vehicle, driver license, unemployment insurance, and child support engagement. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful and lasting social impact by driving positive change in government agencies through collaborative problem-solving.

The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Consultation: Consult with agencies to understand their business needs and implement the FAST software effectively.
• Problem Solving: Identify and investigate complex issues to make decisions and develop solutions.
• Configuration: Configure client-specific functionality using FAST tools, VB.Net, or C# to meet unique agency requirements.
• Data Management: Create and modify SQL queries to efficiently retrieve data from relational databases.
• Feature Implementation: Implement new features and guide them through testing and deployment processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current undergraduate student pursuing Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering. Students from other fields with technical training or experience are also considered.
• Experience: Prior experience in a .NET or similar development environment, along with exposure to SQL in database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, strong personal ownership of work, ability to work independently, significant team contribution, and enthusiasm for challenges and learning.
