Job Description: Human Resources Intern

The Human Resources Intern at Qualus will play a crucial role in supporting the HR team, primarily focusing on maintaining data accuracy within the HR Information System (HRIS). This position is designed for a detail-oriented individual looking to gain practical experience in an HR environment.

Key responsibilities for this intern role include:

Pulling and reviewing various reports to assess employee data for accuracy and completeness within the HRIS.
• Actively participating in process improvement initiatives specifically related to HR reporting.
Conducting regular audits of data fields within the HRIS to ensure information quality and consistency.
• Providing significant support in organizing, updating, and maintaining job descriptions. This involves retrieving, organizing, and reviewing existing job descriptions.
Identifying roles that are missing job descriptions or those that require updates to their content.
• Assisting with the preparation and posting of new and updated job descriptions.
Collaborating closely with other HR team members to ensure overall data integrity and compliance across HR functions.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field. Strong technical skills are required, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and create charts. Familiarity with various HRIS systems and reporting tools (such as UKG, SAP, or Power BI) is also beneficial. The intern must possess the ability to quickly learn new systems or software, coupled with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for team collaboration, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality is paramount. This is an on-site role for 2 days per week, with flexibility offered based on the intern’s class schedule.
