Job Description: Human Resources Intern

This internship at Fort Myers Broadcasting Company offers a hands-on opportunity for individuals passionate about Human Resources to learn and grow within an established and respected organization.

Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:
This role provides practical experience across various HR functions, including:
File Management: Organizing employee files by scanning paper documents into a digital format.
HR Systems Experience: Gaining hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Recruitment & Onboarding: Learning and assisting with the entire hiring, onboarding, and orientation process for new employees.
Operational Support: Observing and supporting day-to-day HR operations, working closely with the HR Director and Employee Relations Specialist.
Administrative Duties: Performing essential administrative tasks such as scanning documents, filing, emailing, and updating spreadsheets.
Engagement & Projects: Assisting with employee engagement activities and contributing to various HR projects as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this internship, candidates should possess the following:
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective interaction.
Professionalism: The ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels within the organization.

Movement: Ability to bend, reach, and carry files as necessary.
