Human Resources Intern – Fall 2026 | Everstory Partners

The Tone:
This is an internship at Everstory Partners, located in Altamonte Springs, FL. As an HR Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects and daily operations within the Human Resources team, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the death care industry and how HR functions contribute to the organization’s success. This experience is designed for students pursuing a career in Human Resources who are interested in understanding how HR functions work together within a complex, multi-location organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Training Logistics: Coordinate new hire training logistics, including tracking attendance, coordinating communications, and preparing or shipping training materials.
• Instructional Content: Assist with class moderation and the creation, editing, or updating of instructional guides, job aids, and training documentation.
• Compliance and Records: Support Talent Acquisition compliance activities, including assisting with I-9 validation processes and maintaining employment eligibility records, while also maintaining accurate candidate records, trackers, and system data.
• Benefits and Compensation Support: Provide administrative support related to benefits and compensation programs, including maintaining documentation and tracking employee inquiries or requests, and assisting with Total Rewards initiatives.
• Employee Relations and Policy Assistance: Support Employee Relations activities by assisting with documentation, case tracking, and follow-up coordination, and help with policy-related projects and internal HR documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources), or a recent graduate within the past two years.
• Experience: No specific years of professional experience are required for this internship role.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, and a valid state driver’s license.
