HR Administrator 2 | Stride, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Stride, Inc., located remotely in the United States. Stride, Inc. focuses on providing comprehensive HR services, including personnel records maintenance and statistical reporting for both internal management and external agencies. This HR Administrator 2 role is crucial for supporting all aspects and functions of the Human Resources department, performing a wide range of confidential administrative, operational, and project support duties. The individual in this position helps maintain critical HR programs and fosters strong, trust-based relationships across the organization by engaging effectively and empathetically with employees, managers, and senior leaders.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Relations Support: Communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy to respond to employee, manager, and HR team requests, escalating issues as appropriate through the FreshService ticketing system to support HR processes and resolve issues.
• Customer Service & Inquiry Resolution: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients by answering routine employee questions related to benefits, timesheets, time-off, and company policies.
• Employee Lifecycle Management: Support comprehensive onboarding and offboarding activities for all employees, ensuring a smooth transition into and out of the organization.
• Records and Compliance: Maintain accurate employee personnel files and ensure compliance with all record-keeping requirements, including managing I-9 documentation in accordance with federal regulations.
• Administrative & Data Management: Provide essential administrative support, including processing invoices, generating purchase orders, completing employment verifications, fulfilling reporting requests, and supporting data entry, accuracy, and maintenance of employee information within the HR Information System (HRIS).

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s degree with a focus on Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Three (3) years of Human Resources experience, including working knowledge of WORKDAY.
• Skills: Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research answers, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Demonstrated customer service mindset, strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of HR principles, employment practices, or HR compliance.
