This is an internship at DriveTime Family of Brands, located in Tempe, Arizona. The company stands as the nation’s largest privately owned used car sales, finance, and servicing company, with over two decades of industry knowledge. Through brands like DriveTime, Bridgecrest, and SilverRock, they leverage technology to redefine vehicle purchasing, financing, and protection. This HRIS Intern role contributes to the Human Resources team, offering hands-on experience in HR technology, data management, and system optimization within an organization committed to ‘Creating Opportunities and Improving Lives’ for both customers and employees.

What You’ll Actually Do
• System Management: Assist in maintaining and updating HR systems and databases.
• Data Analysis: Support HR data entry, reporting, and analytics to enhance decision-making.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT and HR teams for timely resolutions.
• Process Improvement: Conduct research on emerging HR technology trends and recommend process improvements.
• Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of data across all HR systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. The internship requires a graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027, along with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Experience: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated understanding of logical reasoning, including the ability to work through if/then conditions and decision-based workflows. Eagerness to collaborate effectively within a high-functioning team environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HRIS platforms, and data analysis tools. Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage diverse audiences, including management. Exceptional organization and time management skills, demonstrating an ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines through constant prioritization.
• Bonus: Experience in Java. A demonstrated interest in HR technology, data management, and system optimization.
