2027 US HR Trainee Program | Kraft Heinz

The Tone:
This is a ten-month leadership development program at Kraft Heinz, located in Chicago, IL. Kraft Heinz is a global food company focused on disrupting the industry with iconic and emerging food and beverage brands. This program is designed to develop future leaders who will drive people-focused improvements, strengthen organizational health, and support the growth of our brands and business.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $80000 yearly
• Team: HR Trainees will work within various HR teams such as Employer Branding, HR Business Partner, University Relations, Benefits & Compensation, Talent Acquisition, or Corporate Communications.
• Mission: Partner with business leaders and employees to identify opportunities and deliver people-focused improvements that strengthen organizational health and performance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Onboarding: Participate in two-to-four weeks of immersive onboarding to learn the business from end-to-end and build connections within the cohort.
• Project Rotations: Complete two 4-month project rotations, bringing creative solutions across areas like talent acquisition, workforce planning, or employee engagement.
• Leadership Development: Engage in one week of leadership development rooted in Kraft Heinz’s WIN leadership principles.
• Professional Development: Attend one week of celebration and professional development to support the transition into a full-time role.
• Executive & Peer Collaboration: Meet regularly with senior executives, receive mentorship, and collaborate with trainees from other countries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelors degree with anticipated graduation between November 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: No specific years required; candidates must demonstrate innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Skills: Innovative thinking, problem-solving, leadership initiative, ability to challenge the status quo, and capacity to simplify complex concepts.
