The Tone:

• Mission: To support the Housekeeping Manager in supervising housekeeping operations and performing cleaning duties to meet product quality standards and provide optimum guest service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Supervise: Assist the Housekeeping Manager in the day-to-day supervision of the housekeeping team to uphold product quality standards and deliver optimum guest service according to hotel objectives.
• Inspect: Conduct thorough inspections of all assigned guest suites and public areas, verifying cleanliness, furnishings, and equipment condition, and providing instruction for corrective action and retraining as needed.
• Perform: Execute a range of housekeeping duties, including the cleaning of guest suites and public spaces, to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards.
• Coordinate: Support scheduling and room cleaning assignments to optimize coverage and efficiency, and assist in training employees on job duties and equipment use.
• Manage: Help with inventory and maintenance of par levels for linen and room supplies, monitor commercial laundry operations, and oversee lost and found procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma or equivalent. Foundational knowledge in hotel housekeeping operations, specifically concerning product quality standards and guest service.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of direct housekeeping experience, which must include some form of supervisory training or prior experience in a supervisory capacity within a hospitality setting.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking), strong mathematical aptitude for tasks involving budgeting, profit/loss, percentages, and variances, coupled with proven problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically within the extended stay industry and practical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications.
