Intake Analyst – Remote (EST) | Centro Benefits Research

As an Intake Analyst, you will play a crucial part in evaluating client-submitted data for prospective businesses, ensuring accurate risk assessment and seamless onboarding to the master health plan.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Evaluate: Evaluate client-submitted data for prospective businesses seeking to join a master health plan.
• Determine: Determine risk-based pricing for businesses interested in PEO health benefits.
• Secure: Secure missing information and identify inconsistencies within client-submitted data.
• Enter: Accurately enter client data into underwriting tools.
• Communicate: Communicate directly with clients and insurance carrier partners regarding underwriting requests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level understanding of health plan intake and underwriting processes for businesses.
• Experience: No minimum years specified; prior experience in individual, small, or large group medical underwriting, or within a health insurance agency/brokerage, is preferred.
• Skills: High attention to detail, strong business communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Outlook, ability to quickly learn new processes and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a high degree of responsibility and autonomy.
• Bonus: Working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), experience working within the PEO and/or Association industry, and understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.
