Your Role And Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate extensively with the Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) on the comprehensive design and execution plans for the implementation and associated integrations of HashiCorp tool(s) within the scope of client engagements.
- Execute diligently on the technical customer solution plan meticulously designed by the Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) assigned to your customer accounts.
- Undertake the design, implementation, and ongoing management of HashiCorp enterprise solutions, ensuring robust and scalable deployments.
- Assist significantly in the design and configuration of third-party integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality with HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
- Be responsible for the creation of essential support documentation, automation scripts, runbooks, and similar collateral directly associated with the HashiCorp enterprise solutions you manage.
- Provide assistance in the application or execution of software patches and upgrades to HashiCorp enterprise solutions, primarily within non-production environments to ensure stability.
- Consult proactively with various customer application, platform, and operations teams, guiding them on best practices for integrating their diverse tools, applications, and services with HashiCorp tools.
- Execute specific technical tasks throughout the customer’s cloud transformation journey, specifically as it relates to the HashiCorp product suite, ensuring alignment and success.
- Develop robust automation solutions for the deployment, comprehensive management, and efficient operation of one or more HashiCorp solutions.
- Directly impact developer velocity by implementing solutions that streamline workflows, while simultaneously satisfying stringent objectives related to governance, risk, and controls.
- Be acutely cognizant of, and effectively communicate, the inherent business value and benefits of the HashiCorp product suite to our valued customers.
- Articulate clearly the technical functionality of HashiCorp products and any additional third-party integrations to a diverse audience, including practitioners, product owners, and managers.
- Educate individual contributors within client organizations on best practices concerning system administration, service administration, automation strategies, and advanced observability techniques.
- Be prepared to be subject to additional background checks and screening procedures as performed by specific customers.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
To succeed in this role, you should possess a solid foundation in the following areas:
- Proficiency in Operating Linux and Windows Systems: Demonstrated hands-on experience navigating, managing, and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows server environments.
- Basic Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and Version Control: Foundational knowledge of modern software development practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines and common version control solutions like Git.
- Basic Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC): An appreciation for automating infrastructure provisioning and management through code.
- Exposure to and General Understanding of at Least One Public Cloud Service Provider: Familiarity with the core services and concepts of a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong Collaboration Skills: The proven ability to work effectively and constructively within group environments, contributing to team goals.
- Self-Directed Work Ethic: The ability to work independently, taking initiative and executing tasks efficiently based on a provided roadmap or project plan.
- Clear Communication of Technical Topics: The skill to distill complex technical concepts into simple, understandable terms for various audiences.
- Familiarity with Common Security and Compliance Requirements: A general awareness of standard security practices, regulatory compliance, and best practices in enterprise environments.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Candidates with the following additional experience will be highly regarded:
- Additional Platform Knowledge: Exposure to a diverse range of cloud platforms, on-premises solutions, and related products. This includes the ability to articulate their value proposition, quantify Return on Investment (ROI), and understand the competitive landscape of various technologies.
- Advanced Solution Design: Proven experience in architecting and designing complex client solutions, leveraging current product capabilities effectively and providing valuable input to product teams for solution refinement and future enhancements.
- Enhanced Technical Accelerators: Practical experience with multiple technical accelerators used to drive sales and client engagement, such as developing compelling demonstrations, conducting Proof-of-Technology (POTs), Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), leading workshops, contributing to solution design, crafting proposals, and building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
