Guest Service Representative | SYNCHRONARCHITECTS

The TL;DR

• Team: Property associates, part of a highly team-focused group.
• Mission: Consistently deliver outstanding customer service to exceed guest expectations and uphold the highest standards during their stay.
• Tech Stack: PBX phone system, key card system, PMS reservation systems, general office machines, computers

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service: Consistently deliver outstanding customer service through efficient check-in/check-out processes and personalized interactions throughout each guest’s stay.
• Communication Hub: Serve as the central point for information and communication for guests, fellow employees, vendors, and other business representatives.
• Administrative Support: Perform a variety of clerical duties, including basic computer work, reception tasks, and simple accounting functions.
• Revenue Generation: Actively sell and up-sell rooms to walk-ins and phone reservations, striving for 100% occupancy while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Operational Support: Maintain knowledge of all hotel systems, fire alarm and evacuation procedures, local area information, and assist other teams when needed, including light housekeeping tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role in customer service and hospitality operations.
• Experience: Proficiency in hotel systems including PBX phone, key card, and PMS reservation systems, with the ability to operate general office machines and computers.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills (written, telephone, in-person), ability to work a flexible schedule, strong organizational skills, cash drawer security and balancing, and the capability to work effectively under pressure.
