About the Job: Growth Marketing & Community Intern at Wakao

We’re in soft launch, building fast, and we need someone who wants to do meaningful work – not busy work. Wakao is an activity-first social platform. We’re growing across North America and need an intern who’s ready to help us do it right.

What You’ll Actually Do:

  • Own organic content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Threads.
  • Build and work a B2B partner pipeline – campuses, clubs, community organizations, and event hosts.
  • Run real growth experiments: hypothesis, ship, measure, decide.
  • Set up AI-powered automations that save the team hours every week.
  • Track everything in Monday.com and report what moved and what didn’t.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Hands-on experience in growth marketing, product management, social media, or community building. Internships, freelance, and self-run projects count.
  • Growth & Analytics: Define and run A/B experiments, track KPIs (CTR, installs, activation), and interpret funnel data. UTM and attribution basics required.
  • Tech Stack: Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics or equivalent, and scheduling platforms. Comfort with AI-powered tools – Cursor, Claude, Clawbot – is a strong plus.
  • B2B Outreach: Structured email, DM, or cold calling experience with documented lead sourcing and pipeline tracking.
  • Scripting (Nice to Have): Basic Python for reports, data cleaning, or lightweight tracking tools.
